1 1/2 oz Sloe Gin 1 1/2 oz Sherry 2 oz Lemon juice 1 oz sugar syrup Club Soda

5 pints Beer 4 glasses of Sherry 2 2/3 cups brown Sugar 3 Lemon slices 1 tsp ground Ginger 6 small slices of Toast
Heat the beer in a pot or large pan. Stir in the other ingredients, except the toast. Float the toast on top and serve immediately. Should be served lukewarm and not really hot. People should be encouraged to eat the toast.
4 Cloves 1 inch Cinnamon stick 1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg twist of Lemon peel 1 glass of Sherry 1 bottle of red Wine or Port sugar
Put the spices and the Lemon peel into a pan and just cover with water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain into a punch bowl and add the Sherry and the red Wine or Port. Sweeten with the sugar and reheat gently over low heat. Serve hot.
2 Lemons 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp ground Ginger 1 750 ml bottle dark Rum 1 750 ml bottle Brandy 8 oz Sherry 3 pints boiling water
Peel the Lemons and put their rinds into a small bowl with the sugar. Soften the rinds by pressing on them with the back of spoon. Juice the remaining Lemons and add the juice and the ground Ginger to the bowl. Mix it together well. Move the mix to a larger punch bowl. Add, first, the Rum, then the Brandy, then the Sherry and top off with the boiling water. Mix and let it sit for 30 minutes, stewing. Garnish with grated Nutmeg and serve immediately.
5 pints Beer (choose any kind you like) 4 glasses Sherry (your favorite brand) 2 2/3 cups of Brown Sugar 3 Lemon slices 1 tsp ground Ginger 6 small slices of toast -- serves 12 --
Heat the beer on low heat in a large pot. Stir in the sherry, sugar, lemon and ginger. Toast small slices of bread (do not butter!). Float the toast on the surface of the beer mixture. Pour into mugs and serve immediately while warm.
