Irish Cow

Irish Cow







Ingredients:

4 1/2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
4 1/2 oz milk

Combine the ingredients in a small saucepan.  Warm on low heat.  When warm, pour it into a mug and sprinkle nutmeg on top.

Gin Alexander

Gin Alexander




Ingredients:  

1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz dark Creme de Cacao
1/2 oz heavy Cream
Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Fill a mixing glas with ice.  Add the Gin, Creme de Cacao and Cream.  Shake and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  Sprinkle the Nutmeg and/or Cinnamon on top.

Brandy Eggnog

Brandy Eggnog


1 cup Milk
2 1/2 oz Brandy
3 tbs powdered Sugar
1 Egg
powdered Nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake firmly and strain into a mug. Sprinkle with Nutmeg if desired.

1 1/2 oz blended Whiskey
1 oz Pernod
1/2 oz dark Rum
1 oz heavy Cream
ground Nutmeg

Half fill a mixing glass with cracked ice. Add all the ingredients except the Nutmeg. Shake and pour into a chilled rocks glass. Sprinkle the Nutmeg on top.

Hot Rum Toddy

Hot Rum Toddy


1 1/2 oz Jamaican dark Rum
1 tsp Sugar
3 Cloves
dash Cinnamon
1 Lemon slice
hot Water
dash ground Nutmeg

Add all the ingredients except the Nutmeg and hot Water in a large Coffee Mug. Pour over with the hot Water. Sprinkle the top with the Nutmeg.

Gluewein (Gluhwein)

Gluewein (Gluhwein)


6 oz dry Red Wine
1 tsp Honey
2 whole Cloves
1 Cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
pinch ground Nutmeg

Combine ingredients in a small saucepan. DO NOT BOIL. Heat to warm. Stir in the Honey until dissolved. Pour into a warm mug and serve.

Mulled Wine Punch

Mulled Wine Punch


4 Cloves
1 inch Cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg
twist of Lemon peel
1 glass of Sherry
1 bottle of red Wine or Port
sugar

Put the spices and the Lemon peel into a pan and just cover with water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain into a punch bowl and add the Sherry and the red Wine or Port. Sweeten with the sugar and reheat gently over low heat. Serve hot.

Lager Cup

Lager Cup


1 thinly sliced Lemon peel
sprig of Mint leaves
pinch of grated Nutmeg
2 tbsp Vodka
1/2 cup Water
juice of 2 Lemons
1 tbsp superfine Sugar
crushed ice
1 cup Club Soda
3 1/2 cups Lager

Put the Lemon rind, Mint, Nutmeg and Vodka into a small punch bowl. Cover and allow to steep for 30 minutes. After a half hour, add the water, Lemon juice and sugar. Strain through a strainer to remove the leaves and seeds. Add back to the punch bowl and mix in some crushed ice. Top off with Club Soda and then the Lager, floating in layers on top. Do not stir and serve immediately.
