Banana Milkshake

Banana Milkshake





1 medium sized ripe Banana, peeled
1/2 pt Milk
1 tsp Honey

Combine these ingredients in a blender and blend well until thick and creamy.  Pour into a rocks glass and add ice.

1 1/2 oz Vodka
1 oz Lime juice
1/2 small Banana, peeled and sliced
1 tsp Honey

Fill a blender with 4 oz ice.  Add the ingredients and blend at medium speed for about 15 seconds or until smooth and creamy.  Pour into a chilled goblet or large wineglass.  Garnish with a slice of Lime.

Banana Tree

1 oz Banana Liqueur
1/2 oz white Creme de Cacao
1/2 oz Galliano
1/2 Banana, peeled and sliced thinly
5 oz Vanilla Ice Cream
4 drops Vanilla extract

Pour 1/4 cup crushed ice into a blender.  Add all the ingredients except for one Banana slice.  Blend until smooth and creamy and pour into a large goblet or wineglass.  Garnish with the slice of Banana.

Banana Milk Shake (non alcoholic)


1 medium sized banana, peeled
1/2 pt of Milk
1 tsp Honey

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend well until creamy and smooth.  Pour into a rocks glass and add ice.  This is a great Easter treat to be served at the Easter Egg Hunt and kids can drink it, too!

Barbados Bowl

Barbados Bowl


8 ripe Bananas
8 oz Lime juice
1 cup sugar
12 oz light Rum
12 oz dark Rum
1 qt plus 12 oz Pineapple juice
12 oz Mango nectar
2 Limes, sliced

Chill all the ingredients except the Bananas. Thinly slice 6 of the Bananas and then place them in a blender with the Lime juice and sugar. Blend until smooth. Place a large block of ice in a big punch bowl and pour over with the Banana mixture. Pour over with chilled light Rum, dark Rum, Pineapple juice and Mango nectar. Stir gently until blended. Refrigerate the bowl for a full hour before serving. Cut up the remaining Bananas into thin slices. Cut the fresh Limes into thin slices as well. When ready to serve, float the Banana and Lime slices on the top of the punch.

Barbados Punch Bowl

Barbados Punch Bowl


8 ripe Bananas
8 oz Lime juice
1 cup sugar
12 oz light Rum
12 oz dark Rum
1 qt plus 12 oz of Pineapple juice
12 oz Mango nectar
2 Limes, sliced

Chill the Rums, Pineapple Juice and Nectar in a refrigerator. Thinly slice the 6 Bananas. Put the Banana slices, the Lime juice and the sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth. Place a block of ice in a large punch bowl. Pour over the Lime & Bananas mix. Add in the Rums, the Pineapple juice and the Nectar. Stir briefly. Refrigerate one full hour before serving. Before serving, cut the Bananas and the Limes in thin slices and float on the top of the punch.
