6 cooking Apples
2 1/4 pints of strong Ale (pick a favorite brand)
1 tsp ground Ginger
1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg
Brown Sugar (to taste)

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and roast the apples until they are soft and pulpy. Heat the ale in a pot on low heat. Peel and core the apples and add them to the ale. Stir in the spices and sugar to taste and serve very hot.
