Apple Grog

Apple Grog


1 1/2 oz Applejack (Apple Brandy)
1 tbsp brown Sugar
4 oz distilled water
2 whole Allspice berries
1 Cinnamon stick
1/2 oz 151-proof Rum

Pour Applejack, Sugar and water into a small saucepan. Sprinkle over with Cinnamon and drop in the Allspice berries. Bring to the boiling point, but do not allow to boil. Watch for the bubbles rising from the bottom. Pour into a coffee mug. Float the Rum on the top. Garnish with a fresh Lemon twist.
